Susquehanna man accused of arson

share thisA Susquehanna man faces arson and reckless endangerment charges for setting fire to his own home on Route 171, Great Bend Twp. on Nov. 7, state police at Gibson said Friday.
John V. Matarese, 53, was taken into custody in Chenango, N.Y. by New York state police after investigators determined he intentianlly started the fire and issued a warrant for his arrest, police said.
Matarese was being held in the Broome County, N.Y., jail pending his return to Pennsylvania to face the charges, police said.
