Man charged with stealing from aunt

A Union Dale man has been charged with the theft of $13,000 from his great- aunt's life insurance annuity policy, state police at Dunmore said.
Victor J. Santarelli III was charged with forgery, insurance fraud, theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking. Police said the incident occurred Jan. 3, 2007, while Santarelli's great-aunt was in his care.
Police did not release the name of the victim.
