Frosty temps and a frigid wind didn’t damper the Christmas spirit from the first Parade of Lights with Santa held in Montrose on Friday evening.
Parade watchers lined Public Avenue as the Montrose High School band, Christmas floats and area fire trucks decked out with holiday lights passed.
Montrose United Fire Company sponsored the parade, followed by treats and an appearance by Santa Claus at the fire hall.
