Cell pix lead to assault sentence

share thisArthur W. Ball Jr., 22, of Tunkhannock, will serve three to 23 and one-half months in Susquehanna County Correctional Facility for having sex with a girl, under the age of 16, in October of last year.
He was sentenced for indecent assault in the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas on June 18.
In addition to the jail time, Ball must receive a Sexual Offender Evaluation and is not to have contact with the victim in this case.
Ball was arrested after the victim’s father found pictures of Ball’s genitals on his daughter’s cell phone. Ball had sent the pictures to the girl’s cell phone.
Ball must also pay a $500 fine and the cost of prosecution, in addition to other related court costs and fees.
