Area heroin ring busted

Susquehanna County detectives and state police busted four people for allegedly dealing heroin in the Hallstead and New Milford areas.
According to police affidavits, Ashly Jack, 20, and Justin Matthew Rolison, 29, both of Hallstead, were selling the drugs from their Main St. apartment and working with two New Milford area men.
Anthony William Slick, 28, and Jarred P. Tennant, 20, both of New Milford, were also involved in distributing the drugs.
Nearly 50 bags of heroin were sold to a police informant on several occasions in June and July. Some of the heroin bags bore “New Jack City,” “Drag Me to Hell” and “Rocafella” stamps.
Rolison, Tennant and Slick each face three counts of manufacture, deliver possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and three counts of intent to possess a controlled substance by person not registered.
Rolison is also charged with four counts of criminal use of a communication facility. Tennant and Slick are each charged with criminal conspiracy.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Slick on Oct. 5. Rolison’s hearing is set for Oct. 19 and Tennant’s hearing date is scheduled for Oct. 26.
Jack faces two counts of manufacture, deliver possession with intent to manufacture and two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance by person not registered along with two counts of criminal use of a communication facility and criminal conspiracy.
Jack’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 19.
Rolison, Slick and Tennant were released on $10,000 bail or 10 percent cash equivalent. Bail for Jack was set at $10,000 unsecured
