The Great Bend man accused of attempting to lure a teen over the internet for sex in December was in court on separate sex charges last week.

Duane Anderson, 33, waived his preliminary hearing in District Court on Thursday.
Anderson was charged by Tpr. Mark Mulvey with felony counts for sex acts he allegedly performed with an eight-year-old child in Great Bend in June 2009. Charges against Anderson include involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and two counts of indecent assault.

The Susquehanna County Independent does not disclose the names of sexual assault victims.
He is being held in the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility in lieu of $125,000 bail on the latest charges plus the $75,000 bail set for the charges lodged against him by the state attorney general’s office.
Anderson and his girlfriend, Jamie Nicole Eastman, 19, Great Bend, were arrested on Dec. 30 in Montrose for attempting to lure a 13-year-old girl over the internet for sexual purposes.
Both face felony charges of unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility.
Anderson and Eastman had actually been communicating online with an undercover agent.
Eastman is the first woman in Pennsylvania to be charged by the Child Predator Unit. She is also being held in the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.
